What do you think are the pros and cons being implemented any of these hot cool phones which are Nokia N86 and Nokia N97? Although these phones are already a hot gadget in any of the mobile phone stores around you in town, but what are their differences anyway, in which the buyer itself would compare on who will be the best phone around. Anyway, let’s compare the Nokia N86 and the Nokia N97.

When it comes to dimensions, Nokia N86 has the advantage because it is slightly smaller and lighter which the measurements of of 103.4 x 51.4 x 16.5-18.5mm, and the weight and volume are only 149g and 84 cc whereas Nokia N97 has measurements 117.2 x 55.3 x 15.9-18.25 mm, with a weight and volume of 150g and 88 cc. When it comes to 3D and display, Nokia N97 once again scores, as the size is much bigger which 3.5 in inches, than Nokia N86’s 2.6 in inches. It also has a high resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, resistive touch screen with separate touch foil and touch feedback, which Nokia N86 has no feature like that, and the high resolution is only 320 x 240 pixels, and all of the other features related to this section are just the same.

If we differentiate them through keys and input method, it was Nokia N86 now has the score, with eight features which includes numeric keypads, cover keys, slide show keys, dedicated media/zoom/game keys, dedicated camera and volume keys and voice commands, especially the keypad lock switch and the charging indicator LED with breathing menu key, compared to Nokia N97’s only five features within this section which are composed of full slide out keyboard, cover keys, touch screen, four way navigation key and the dedicated camera and volume keys.

In color cases of these phones, Nokia N97 has two available colors like the transition black and the white one, while Nokia N86 only has one color available which is the indigo. When it comes to connectors, both have the same function which they have a micro-USB connector with mass storage class support, high speed USB 2.0, and 3.5mm AV connector which are compatible to any of these phones.

The internal memory of Nokia N97 is much bigger which has a total of 32 GB compared to only 16 GB for N86, but their microSD memory card slots are the same as usual. For comparison to data networks in either of these two hot phones, Nokia N97 once again took the lead with three features that includes class A GPRS with a class 32 multislot, WCDMA and HSPDA with a maximum speed of 3.6 Mbps each, and WLAN IEEE 802.11 b/g with a maximum speed up to 11 Mbps, compared to N86’s only features were integrated GPS and A-GPS with Nokia Maps 3.0 application.

In terms of camera, the N97 has a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, LED flash and autofocus. The N86 8MP has an 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, dual-LED flash and variable aperture. Video recording is same in both at 30fps in VGA resolution.

Nokia N97 is just like a mini notebook laptop which you can type in landscape through the use of landscape keyboarding. Their features when it comes to calls, messaging and internet are just being different from each other in unique ways, but still N97 dominates over N86’s features. It really doesn’t matter on which phone will you choose and decide to take, and there’s nothing wrong about it, as long as you know their pros and cons, you can decide easily, and both of these phones are cool to handle with.

These phones from Nokia are one of the most popular models today, and now it was owned by most people here around the globe. But every phone that we owned has pros and cons, which may settle the differences between these two phones. But what are these pros and cons that we’re talking about? Let’s compare the Nokia N86 and Nokia N85 right now.

When it comes to size, Nokia N86 is more advantageous than Nokia N85, because its dimensions has a total of 103.4 x 51.4 x 16.5-18.5 mm, and the weight and volume are 149g and 84 cc, respectively with Kickstand, rather than Nokia N85’s 103 x 50 x 16.0 mm, and the weight and volume are only 128g and 76 cc, respectively and without Kickstand. When it comes to 3D and display, this time Nokia N85 has the advantage over the N86 because of one thing, which is the additional display information which the Nokia N86 doesn’t have, and all of the rest of their features under 3D and display are almost the same as usual. When it comes to keys and input method, Nokia N86 once again took the lead, because it has eight features while Nokia N85 only has seven features. One thing in common under this section, is their numeric keypads, cover keys, slide show keys, dedicated media/zoom/game keys, dedicated camera and volume keys and voice commands, but the other features which these phones have differences is that, Nokia N86 has keypad lock switch and charging indicator LED with the breathing menu key, while N85 only has multimedia key, Navi™ Wheel, and intelligent key illumination. In color and cover cases, it’s a tie ball game, which Nokia N86 color is only indigo available, while N85 has copper. In connectors section, another tie for both of these phones, which they have a micro-USB connector with mass storage class support, high speed USB 2.0, and 3.5mm AV connector.

In terms of memory use, once again N86 has the advantage and took the lead as well, because the microSD memory card slot has allowed a maximum of 16 GB compared to Nokia N85’s only 8 GB. Nokia N86 also has an additional 8 GB internal flash memory, ROM 77.0 and RAM 74.7, but Nokia N85 only has 74 MB internal dynamic memory. In terms of browsing time, Nokia N86 is another good advantage because you can browse up to seven hours, while Nokia N85 only has a maximum of five hours and forty-two minutes. In terms of imaging, once again Nokia N86 scores again, because the camera is set to 8 MP rather than Nokia N85’s only 5 MP, and flash operating range is up to 3.5 m compared to N85’s 3 meters. Their communication department has the same function with one another, as what we have compared and have understand their pros and cons; we may know which one we will buy. It doesn’t matter as long as you have these two phones, you still are a lot more advantageous and a lot more deserved to any of these phones.

It looks like the Nokia N86 8MP is getting ready to come out to play. With the Nokia N97 set to launch on the 19th June, along with the Nokia 6700 classic, Nokia looks like having one of the hottest summers for a long time. Nokia just put the Nokia N86 page live on its site, suggesting the first eight-megapixel mobile from the Finnish phone maker will ship almost back to back with the Nokia N97.

The Nokia N86 8MP is Nokia’s first true 8-Megapixel camera and is set to give the Nokia N95 a run for its money in terms of features and usability. For those not too familiar with the Nokia N86 8MP, it’s Nokia’s first 8-Megapixel phone and comes with a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. What’s more, it’s also the first to come with variable aperture and even packs in a dual LED flash and camera light, making this almost more a camera than a phone!

This S60 3rd Edition phone comes with a 2.6-inch AMOLED screen and packs in 8GB of storage, as well as GPS and everything we’ve come to expect from a leading Nokia phone, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Since cell phones first came out ages ago, the Nokia company has been on the leading edge of the newest technology innovations. Their first phones were constantly getting smaller and more reliable, and as cell phones turned into mini-computers, they too were striving to offer their users some of the most high-tech gadgets available.

Well, the cell phone industry has already conquered making their phones act like small personal computers. We’ve had full web browsing for years now, integrated email, etc.. The newest race is to make a phone that functions like a full-sized digital camera. According to Nokia, they’ve done it. Does the new Nokia N86 act like a modern digital camera? Or does it not live up to its manufacturer’s hefty claims? We’ve got our hands on it, and are going to give you an unbiased third-party review. We’ll cover just the facts, so we can let you make your own mind up.

The Nokia N86 is quite the new innovation, no matter what side of the fence you’re on. It is an 8 megapixel camera phone–a resolution that rivals some lower-end digital SLR cameras. The phone goes back to a style that was made popular several years ago: The slider. Nokia manages to build this design in a aesthetically pleasing design that doesn’t look out-of-date or low-tech, which is hard enough to do.

The operating system is Nokia’s Symbian system that has been used on several of their phones. We were happy to see that, since it has already proven to be a solid, reliable and bug-free option for those who have used Nokia phones in the past. The phone doesn’t come in a ton of colors (or any colors at all really), since the only current offerings are white and gray. While that’s not the widest pallet of color options, it ensures every variation of the phone stays looking sleek and high-tech and not like something a pre-teen would carry.

Holding the phone in your hand is somewhat confusing. The construction quality seems higher in some areas more than others. Most of the phone is plastic, feeling somewhat flimsy and not so secure. However, other features are made from solid metal, which feels strong and sleek in the hand. Some of the previous versions of the N serious of phones by Nokia did feel somewhat better made as far as the basic construction materials goes. If you were to drop one of those on concrete, chances are much better they would survive unharmed.

The screen is one of our most favorite features about this phone. It uses OLED technology to produce brilliant, crisp pictures that look much better than other phones on the market. And get this: It’s a widescreen. We tested it out by watching part of a movie on the phone, and were simply blown away. This might be the single best feature of the entire phone (though we’ve yet to take a look at the camera, of course). For a phone boasting to take great pictures, this is a good start–it helps to see what you just snapped a pic of.

The phone itself has a ton of features. We were happy to see that it had integrated GPS. Far too many “advanced” phones are coming out that leave the user lacking in the GPS area. This makes the phone fantastic for road-trips. It’s the ultimate phone for that purpose. Where else can you see where you’re going, how far you’ve got to go, snap high-resolution pictures along the way, and call home all from the same mobile device?

Alright, time to take a look at the flagship feature of this phone: The camera. This phone outputs pictures at 8MP resolution, which is an actual resolution of 3264×2468 pixels. This gives you enough play room to load the pictures into Photoshop for some editing, or print directly to paper. The phone’s pictures are high enough quality to print them directly to 8×10 photos.

However, the quality of the photos themselves were simply “okay”. Given the fact that they are coming from a phone that is quite smaller than most of the competition, and can fit in your pocket all day with you barely noticing it, the pictures are great. Just don’t entirely think you can throw away your digital camera complete. For day-to-day snapshots, it works just fine, but we felt that some of the other camera phones on the market offer better products.

When the phone is officially launched, Nokia is saying that the camera will have some improvements over the test subject we had to review. Nobody is quite sure what that means, it may just mean they are tweaking the software a little bit before the phones go out the door. It doesn’t seem logical that they would replace the entire camera system in the production version. The official product may have a somewhat better quality camera system than the one we used, but it is still likely that other products on the market will offer better quality pictures.

The integrated flash system consists of two LED lights, which don’t do much to light things up. Some higher end phones have actual fully-functioning flashes built into them, which we felt the N86 really could have used. Most of the time you’re better off just leaving the flash turned off.

Other features of the phone were similar to other phones by Nokia. The web browsing experience was fine, but not exceptional, as was the messaging tool and other included programs. The keypad is easy to use, with the buttons being very easy to hit.

Overall, the Nokia N86 really is a great camera phone. It takes crisp pictures, and its screen shows them off nicely. The other features, such as web browsing and integrated GPS are nice to have. The phone is easy to use, and while it might not feel very solid, we’re sure you won’t want to be dropping it off of a roof-top anyway. While there might be better camera phones on the market, this phone has a lot to offer.
